The following is an interview with Cindy from Supernatural Christian :
What does Spiritual warfare mean to you?
It is territorial. The property in question, is the human soul. We are to have the mind of Christ. There is not doubt that Satan would fight against this objective. It is a fight of light and dark, good and evil, right and wrong. But, there are other places that spiritual warfare can take place, such as locations ie churchs, cities. To fight the good fight, to stand on the promises of God, to never wavier on the ground that has been taken for God, is a spiritual battle.
What do you believe to be your purpose in life?
I am to honor and walk with God. To walk in the giftings that He has given me. To heal the sick in body, soul and spirit. To bring healing to the church through the laying on of hands, the prophetic, and with spiritual eyes. I will walk in my uniqueness, making disciples and following my God with obedience to His calling..What Bible passage is your favorite? Jeremiah 33:3`Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.'
Who is your favorite Bible character apart from Jesus?
Enoch. I want, so badly, to be like Enoch. To be a friend to God and to have Him take me into His confidence. Proverbs 3:32
Other than Biblical figures, who have been your heroes of the faith?
Randy Clark, his mission in life and gifts inspire me. Francis Macnutt, such passion. Kathryn Kuhlman, her sight into the spiritual realm was wonderful.
In your mind what event has had the greatest effect upon the moral degradation of America?
The social revolution of the 1960's, for which I was a part of. It began a moral decline of family and society. The introduction of drugs on a massive level, banning of prayer in school etc. Unfortunately, I played a part in all this by protesting for change and becoming politically active. I wanted change for women-equal pay for equal work. We still, after 40 years find that women still make .80 on the dollar to mans wages. What women did get equality are heart attacks, stress and with moral decay the head of household.
In a nutshell. what are your end times views?
Well, my view on the rapture can be controversial. I do not see proof of the of the rapture in the Word of God. Many have tried to show me the proof, but my mind and spirit just have never been able to see that proof. I, do believe, that we are in the end times and that life is going to get quite a bit rougher for Christians. The prolific growth of the Muslim religion and the hatred spread by the radical beliefs there in, are leading, along with other intolerance to Christianity, to a long hard road for the Christian faith. We, as Christians, will be tested, greatly, in our faith. Matthew 24:9-12 "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
What role(s) do you believe that Holy Spirit plays in our lives as Christians?
The Holy Spirit is the great communicator. He is the door way to the supernatural . He teaches, guides and leads. He knows me better than I and intercedes on my behalf. I enjoy communicating with the Spirit of God and feel that that communication has brought me into the confidence of God. He assists me in doing "only what I see my Father doning".
To what degree are you responsible for your own sanctification?
Well, God is the one who has set me apart, made me peculiar. Without Him I can not be made Holy. It is the work that He has done in me that brings me to that spiritual level. But, I have to play my part of increase in my faith. After God caught me, it became my responsibility to continue in His purpose for me, to grow closer to Him and to seek Him daily. All these things contribute in my sanctification.
What does baptism mean to you?
Well, I was baptized in a creek, with a dog and a goat swimming around me. I had to be dunked forward instead of backwards because of the shallowness of the water. When I came up out of the water, everyone there were grinning from ear to ear, but I heard a serious voice. "Gently I have made you new, now you are on solid ground." So, that is what baptism means to me. Showing the world that I belong to the Living God and renewed to walk on solid ground.
How do you feel about the death penalty?
When I was young, I was a criminal. I got caught, sometimes, for things I had done and other times, caught, for things I had not done. I believe that capital punishment is biblical and necessary, but, I want to know, with out a doubt, that the guilt is assigned to the right person.Otherwise, Hang em!
How do you feel about physical war?
War is, at times, a necessary tools to resolution of a conflict. I lived through a brother in Vietnam and my son served in the first Iraqi war.
What is your take on the Iraqi war?
Unfortunate, but necessary. I, also, see it as part of the spiritual momentum of the end times.
What do believe about the New World Order conspiracy?
I believe that it is to comes into existence as God's prophetic plan.I believe the New World Order will come from the U.N.
How do you feel about the Patriot Act?
Just more incursion into our liberties. We are, ever so slowly, loosing our rights and freedom. I understand the need for security and if I'm not doing anything wrong perhaps I have nothing to worry about, but, oh my, what will be next. The noose feels like it is tightening.
What are your thoughts on the 2008 presidential election?
That is a frightening thought. If the far left were to be elected, we can say goodbye to more of our rights and face a quicker onslaught of the persecution of our faith. But, I know that God will put into office whom He wants. I see it as, whom ever gets the office of President of the United States, will be placed there to continue to path to end time events.
In your opinion, which political system is most compatible with Christian spirituality?
Democracy. But, we here, in the United States are slipping further and further away from Democracy. Feels a little like Socialism.
Can Christians truly be tolerant?
NO!!!! If I live according to the Word of God, I will not tolerate the demise of moral values by accepting the idea of "politically correct." My moral values are place in the Word of God. If the Word says it is wrong. Then It Is Wrong. To accept the views of man as my own, will lead to my corruption. And I am not willing to be tolerant to be accepted.
What is your favorite movie?
"To Kill A Mockingbird" It is an old black and white with Gregory Peck. The battle between good and evil. Sometimes it looks like evil wins, but the truth is NOT.
